Fighting Acne Breakouts – Should I Pop That Pimple?

What if I tell you that you should pop your acne? Before I discovered the Acne No More ebook, I used to visit this beautician for acne treatments, facial and well, pimple popping.

She was very good with her pimple popping technique that although my face was red and slightly bleeding afterwards, they heal very well to become smooth again. Sadly, my beautician is costly, so I can’t visit her as often as I wish. Fighting acne breakouts used to be so costly.

At times, I’m really tempted to pop those pimples by myself. However, I know that most experts advice against picking your acne skin because you may end up injuring the skin. But running my hands along my face, I feel “lump” that won’t go away even after the acne dried up.

How I wish I can remove those “heads” so my skin can be smooth again.

Then, it hit me one day when I was using a nose pore strip to remove blocked pores. I remember thinking that if I can “fish” the lumps out using sticky patch, I can fish it out using a tweezer. Use a low tech “flat tipped” tweezer for this purpose.

You must always make sure that your tweezer is clean or you will need more help fighting acne breakouts afterwards. Also, make sure that your acne is “dried”.

Because I’m using a tweezer, I won’t end up injuring my skin – so no acne scars. The best part about fighting acne breakouts with a tweezer is that it’s not painful at all, unlike when my beautician is squeezing out those lumps.

I may have not found victory in fighting acne breakouts back then, but this “acne treatment” is my personal favorite. Don’t forget to dab some tea tree oil on the “sites” once the lumps have been removed to fight acne causing bacteria.
